Cajeput Essential Oil
Cajeput essential oil has been used in Malaysia and lndonesia for respiratory illnesses, headaches, rheumatism, throat infections and sore muscles. Its name is derived from the Malaysian word for "white tree" and it comes from the leaves and bark of the tree.
Cajeput is closely related in origin and action to tea tree oil, which is classified as "Melaleuca alternifolia" belonging to the Myrtaceae family. It is a strong oil and should be skin-tested for sensitivity before use. Cajeput {Melaleuca leucadendra}
