Coriander Essential Oil
Coriander [also called "cilantro"] is a delightful seasoning. Coriander essential oil, made from the seeds of the coriander plant, aids the digestion and pancreatic function. It may be added to food or beverage as a digestive supplement. Coriander describes the whole plant, but people usually think of it only as a spice. "Cilantro" is generally used in reference to the leaves of the coriander plant, and it actually means leaves in Spanish. The plant flourishes in the geographic regions of southeastern Asia and north Africa. In the USA it is commonly used in the preparation of stews, sausages, and meats. Coriander [Coriandrum sativum]
