Dill essential oil is not as well known as dill, the cooking herb, but its healthy benefits are too numerous to ignore. The dill herb is an excellent herb for digestion and oil of dill is also beneficial when applied to the abdomen or chest to relieve colds, flu or indigestion.

Dill helps to regulate insulin levels so it is a good seasoning to use when dieting to prevent food cravings.

Dill was named as a beneficial herb in Egyptian texts dating as far back as 1550 BC.
