Hyssop Essential Oil

Hyssop essential oil has been used medicinally since Biblical times and its use is recorded in the Bible under Exodus 12:22 and Leviticus 14:4 and 14:6. The oil was used in cleansing and purifying rituals. It may be rubbed on topically, or added to food or drink.

Hyssop {Hyssopus officinalis}

Botanical Family: Lamiaceae or Labiatae

Extraction: Steam distilled from stems/leaves

Properties: Decongestant, cleansing, reduces fats
in body tissue; raises low blood pressure, increases
perspiration; use for infections, cuts, coughs, expelling
parasites, viral infections, sore throats

Uses: Diffuse; apply topically; add to food or drink

Fragrant Influence: Stimulates creativity, meditation
