Jasmine Essential Oil

Jasmine essential oil is actually the essence of the flower. It is very helpful for uplifting the emotions and bad moods (as in PMS!) and is soothing for the skin too. It mixes very well with a number of other oils and can be used to create wonderful skin lotions and healing aromatherapy diffusions.

Jasmine (Jasminum officinale)

Botanical Family: Oleaceae

Extraction: Extraction from flowers, which
must be picked at night to maximize their fragrance

Properties: Excellent for skin conditions; elevates
the spirits, calms the emotions, helps relieve PMS,
antidepressant

Uses: Diffuse, apply topically in a dilution

Fragrant Influence: Uplifting and stimulating in times
of anxiety and nervous exhaustion
