Ledum essential oil may not be one of the better-known aromatherapy oils but it has many therapeutic benefits. It been used for centuries as a tonifier for kidney ailments and fevers, in tea or oil form. A drop may be placed into food or drink as a general body tonic. It will quiet coughs, relieve an upset stomach and help bring down a fever.
