Pine Essential Oil

pine, pine oil, oil of pine

Pine essential oil is a common favorite. Known for its calming and refreshing aroma, commercial pine oil is found in many popular cleansers. Its fragrance can freshen a room or stale area. Pine makes an excellent additive to massage oil. It soothes tight muscles and relieves spasms.

Use it as an inhalant when you have respiratory difficulty; it also relieves bronchial spasms caused by asthma or bronchitis.

Its emotional effect can't be underestimated. The scent of a pine tree often calls to mind the Christmas and winter holidays. The wonderful invigorating scent is the main reason that I refuse to get a fake Christmas tree!
